Velocity-Driven Extruder Drive compensation

Could the above theory be implemented in slic3r? I don't understand why there isn't a "bowden" section on the extruder control that has the bowden tube length and the "compression factor" of the material printed. Anything that will program in a bit of a slowdown in effector movement rates after retractions until the pressure on the filament grows enough to extrude enough to do the job properly instead of the mess we currently experience. The current controls are a bit sloppy and crude when you think about it. Of course, this would take longer to slice, but I'm willing to pay that price for finer control on how the machine plots it's accelleration versus how much it extrudes.
