Hi,
Just to introduce myself. I have several assorted 3D printers including a Rostock that I made from Johann's thingiverse data in April 2012. This is presently undergoing a full rebuild with Piezoelectric disk Z contact sensing for bed leveling and magnetic ball couplings.
Other printers are a couple of Prusa Mendel variants and an incomplete printer with up to 7 extruders - this has been in construction for several years and completion seems not to be getting any closer. Another Delta is in the design stage to satisfy a need for a small printer with the ability to run the print chamber at up to 100C.
My handle "leadinglights" is not an attempt to claim any mastery of the subject, but hales back to a time when I foolishly went into making stained glass lamps and windows. The Yoda avatar is similarly not a claim to be a guru but dates from when, on another forum, somebody added the image.

I have put some photos and a CAD rendering on the "Show us your machine" section.
