New to 3D printing

Post by jimp1947 »

Hello world. I just recently was bitten by the 3D printer bug. I have ordered Makerfarm's Prusa Mendel 8" i3, figuring that I would start out with a kit to learn the ropes. I am excited about the potential of 3D printing and other 3D technologies. I am a retired systems analyst and am looking forward to all the fun entailed in learning a new technology.

Welcome to the forum!

Being bitten by a bug is a (possibly American??) saying that means they have a urge to do something.

It's also a question asked by spammers right before my ban hammer comes down upon their head with such force that it blows their intestines out the only available exit...

Apparently the kind that attract spammers that ask fake questions to get the spammy links in their signatures to show up in search engines.

If it was up to me (and I could figure out how), I'd simple press a button and their bodies would explode. The next button would wipe out their progeny in order to prevent the disease from spreading.

I'd probably settle for sticking them into a Brazen Bull though. :D

Gene,

I believe your wish is called a Barrett .50. It involves some preliminary movement, but then yes just push a button and watch them explode.
