Hi from St Charles, MO

Post by Chrissi »

Hello,

All I can say is wow... our Rostock MAX arrived last week, took us three days to assemble and calibrate it. If the (really excellent) instructions are followed carefully and the setup and calibration is done it works just like it is supposed to first time. The fit and finish of the parts are phenomenal. The design is excellent.
The first part we made was the test cube. It was good. Then we made the wire supports, perfect fit for the job. Two fan housings improved the next parts. We got daring and printed the challenge pyramid. To be honest I was expecting the pyramid to be "the incredible string thing" and it came out quite acceptable on the first try. This is all on the original setup and suggested Slic3er settings that came in the instructions.
I am sure some fine tuning is in order but for a start this is very exciting and encouraging.
Our background(s) is we are two retired ladies previously in R&D (medical devices), design, prototyping, CNC machining, composites, fabrication and welding.
We make all of the metal components for builders of the Rutan canard designs and their derivatives.
This incredible printer is just the special bit of voo-doo we needed for some new projects.
Thank You SeeMeCNC !!!

No idea who he is. We love our machinist customers, they are the most appreciative and the first to recognize good value.
