Everything else on my V2 appears to be working - except my shiny new Bondtech QR.
I have the wiring as follows (per various other posts on this forums)
QR -->> Rostock Wiring
Green -->> Black
Grey -->> Red
Red -->> Green
Yellow -->> White
The Rambo end is as follows (if looking at side of connector with depressable tab - the colors go from right to left)
Pin 1 - Green
Pin 2 - Red
Pin 3 - Black
Pin 4 - White
I have tried this in both E0 and E1 - and get no movement. Before I tear things apart and trace/tone connections - just looking for a sanity check that I have it wired correctly.
TIA

Issues getting Bondtech QR to work on V2

Did you read: http://sublimelayers.blogspot.com/2016/ ... g-for.html
And, are you testing with the hot end up to temperature? The extruder will not work unless it is.

I would bet that the Green/Red and Black/White pairs on your RAMBo connector are phase 1 and phase 2 respectively.
The QR stepper phases are red/grey and yellow/green
Note Capital color for RAMBo connector and lower case for QR stepper color below.
So...
Green - grey
Red - Red
Black - Blue
White - Yellow
But you really should verify the phases. I've never seen a simple stepper with black and white wires. Is that a stock wiring harness?

Re: Issues getting Bondtech QR to work on V2
The Bondtech QR came assembled (so not sure which motor it came with) - and the wiring harness plugin for it has the following colored wires;
Green - Grey - Yellow - Red
I used the wire that came with the rostock to extend down to the Rambo; Green - White - Red - Black
I connected as in my initial post.
I did try bringing hot end up to 190 - and still no extrusion whether plugged into E0 or E1.
I will reconfigure as per your post above and see what happens - although in one sentence you mention "the QR stepper phases are red/grey and yellow/green". but in your next part you mention;
Green - grey
Red - Red
Black - Blue
White - Yellow
I do have a Green - not blue wire from Bondtech - - was this just a mis-type?
Thank you

Sorry yes it should have been green.

Michael,
Thank you for always taking the time to answer questions - it is greatly appreciated.
Going back over everything - and using the information you provided - I had 2 wires reversed - - now it works.
Ready to start calibration - thanks again...
