Well close anyway... While window shopping for a new printer I found that Folgertech offered an all metal hot end for 15 bucks, so I ordered one and it arrived just moments ago. Unfortunatly it is not all metal, there is a ptfe tube running down inside the ss heat break right up to the brass nozzle. Its actually kind of funny, I was planning on replacing the heat break with one that had the ptfe tube run through it and using it for a pla only hot end. Im installing it now and will be testing it tonight with a follow up report. Another nice thing is replacement nozzles are only 1.50

It looks like one of the E3D knockoffs.
It will be interesting to see how it prints.

So far so good It is printing well and has not plugged up. Although it is not a true all metal hot end it is working out well for printing PLA and would be a great upgrade from the good old J head.
Gene you should try one out, I think you will like it...
