I don't remember seeing a date anywhere but it appears the $10 off pre order special has now expired.

Ooops, I put them in the cart just before some "system problem" and y the time I got to check-out the $10 off was gone.
Maybe jmpreuss was right all along - though the web site STILL says anticipated ship date is Dec 12 and $10 off is available on pre-orders.
Probably still worth $50, but I'll hold for now.

I guess I'll amuse myself with the astrosyn damper upgrade/re-build - those should be here early this week.

Thanks Brian,
I flipped AGAIN and ordered mine.
Only hang up is that the 625RS bearings seem to be in VERY short supply - and there isn't an EASY way
to know how many you can get, only that you are trying to buy too many.
Heck, I got THREE, so only FIFTEEN to go (-:
Not your problem, but they don't have an easy way to back order either.

Anyway, ~$80 plus whatever I have to pay for the other 15 bearings,,, wherever I can get them.

Looking forward to this.

There's always these guys for bearings too.

Sometimes they'll have the bearing priced individually and then again by the bag/box for less.

Thanks for the bearing sources guys.

Another option is to order the OpenBuilds V-Wheel "Kits" and add shims, eccentrics, and longer screws. It ends up about the same price (maybe $1-2 more) then you end up with (9) extra 5 x 25 screws.
Order this way...
(27) x Precision Shim - 10x5x1mm
(3) x Eccentric Spacers (Length: 1/4")
(1) x Low Profile Screws M5 (Length: 30mm/10 Pcs)
(9) x OpenBuilds Solid V Wheel Kit

I have had to do that sometimes they don't stock individual bearings, but DO have wheel "kits" in stock.

Screen capture of buy list attached also.

Hmmm, 4, 5, or 6 bux a piece in some places.
A little under $3 if I buy wheel kits, but I would need 8 kits and get a lot of bits left over, since I already bought everything else.
A dollar each, but they are out of stock of the "BEARINGS ONLY" at OpenBuilds - though they have enough to make up 8 kits.
I'm trying to get them to back order for me, since the trucks are in any case 9+ days away.

Thanks Brian. I looked all over for that, I think my age is catching up to me.

I tagged the STL with rostock, belt, clamp, carriage, and tricktrucks.... What other tags would make it easier to search for? Maybe tricktruck without an s and beltclamp/beltclamps?

Jim, I don't think adding more tags would make any difference. I usually can find whatever I need and I think my failure to find that belt clamp was just a senior moment.
Thanks for your attention to this but I really don't think you need to do anything.

Eagle I'm not sure if you're aware but you can search a site straight from your browser with the following command: belt clamp site:repables.com

Maybe this link will help!! http://lmgtfy.com/?q=belt+clamp+site%3Arepables.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just playing with you buddy. You know we all love you.

Excellent point!
Print the belt clamps BEFORE you take apart your machine...
Some have reported that it works better that way :)

FYI, if anyone else had to take a short shipment of the 625 bearings.

Following an e-mail exchange ...OpenBuilds finally told me that the 625 bearings are back in stock, so I ordered the remaining 15 yesterday.

Too bad I couldn't get them ALL at the 15% Cyber Monday discount and all on the same shipping charge, but at a dollar each... I'll "suck it up".
{Pun alert} I'm bearing it.

Anyone else get their OpenBuilds parts and try fitting them together yet ?

I may be having a blonde/senior moment, but I had EXPECTED the eccentrics to fit inside the bearings.
Either they fit inside the truck plates or I have the wrong eccentrics.
My order SAYS 1/4 inch eccentrics, which is what Brian has spec'd in a few places.
6mm is the only alternative on their site.
