If you have not, you need to select the SeeMeCNC HE280 hot end in firmware.
I would also do a PID autotune.

If you have a meter with temperature probe, check the actual temperature at nozzle vs. reported by LCD on machine.

It really -is- a much ado about nothing that, since I deleted the original isssue, is pointless to impart, since it was something I screwed up and something I fixed, and something that no one with sense would ever do anyway.

Trust me, the people who have the sense to help you sometimes have some phenominally stupid mistakes that we make ourselves. If I had to list my top three mistakes with the printer, I'd have to go with:
Assuming a blown fuse was a bootloader issue (In mitigation, the MCU's the Rambo is based off of is known for losing theirs, and there had been a few people with legitimate bootloader issues recently).
Not using crimp connector shells, when I had them on hand, and accidentally frying a Duet .8.5 like that
Attempting a print with the filament half-way loaded through the bowden tube.

All of those are pretty bone-headed, and no one with sense should have done any of them. These are complicated machines, and especially when you're starting out on it, you don't have the experience to instantly figure out the real issue. Hell, the level of troubleshooting ability assumed of a printer owner almost exceeds that of an entry level PLC programmer. I've got some other gems that the way I found them out points at some really silly mistakes, but which aren't as bad as the three above, such as discovering that glass filled PETG will eat a E3D nozzle sock just as well as it eats a brass nozzle, that the Bondtech stepper motor connections will hold the entire weight of the extruder assembly, that the top plate of the printer does not make a good chair, even when detached from the rest, that double sided duct-tape doesn't appreciate being kept at 80C, that a 300W heat lamp will in fact melt a glass-nylon arm at 6 inches (Which is why I never installed the 300W one), and a few other priceless gems.

These suckers are new and not entirely intuitive. A lot of the body of knowledge comes from people throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks (And then picking the splatter that smells nicest in the end).
