Stepper Motor Connector won't budge

Post by SethGrace »

Rainbow-looking Stepper Motor connectors are really putting up a fight if I try and remove them from my Rambo. Should I just grit my teeth and pull or is there some kind of engagement mechanism that I'm not seeing? Also, these are called DuPont connectors, right?

if the connector shell is slightly out of spec, they can be very hard to remove and insert. There is no locking tab on that style even though the male connector on the board is designed to capture one.
