Following the Rostock MAX v2 Assembly Guide.
Im in the PID Auto tune” routine.
When I type the command M303 S200 it starts the PID Autotune start
In about 10-15 mins error say Error: PID Autotune failed! timeout.
On the board I see LED2 and LED4 light Red I don't know if means something.

Is the temperature going up?
Re: Error on PID Autotune
No just stay in 25.5 on NOZ. I don't see hot end heating up.

Re: Error on PID Autotune
If it heated up when you ran it just long enough to see if the heater worked, download the firmware from the website again and reinstall it. If it didn't, you'll need to check all the elements of the heater circuit to see where there might be a continuity problem.

I'd check the wiring first, then investigate the code, but yeah, what he said.IMBoring25 wrote:If it heated up when you ran it just long enough to see if the heater worked, download the firmware from the website again and reinstall it. That's because the RAMBO isn't seeing your hot end thermistor. It's a protection measure when the Thermistor isn't functioning so you don't melt your hotend

Re: Error on PID Autotune
It would say "def" if it didn't see the therm input. I'm guessing that this is wiring to the heater itself.
