Push button getting wore out?

Post by Right to Make »

Push button on the LCD seems to be acting up. The push function seems less like a button and more stiff. If I push it harder it works, but not all the time. Anyone else get this issue. I have the V2. Everything else works great just the select function/push button. Could I lube the pushing mechanism in the button? I could not get the knob off I think its glued on. As always, thank you.

Unless you glued the knob on yourself, it's not glued.

Check to make sure there's no debris under the knob.

Do NOT try to "lubricate" it.

I had the same problem, turned out there was part of a skirt under it. Pull the knob off and see whats up.

As always, excellent advise! I could not see anything but took some dental floss after pulling the knob off and went in between it and some filament (very small amount) was in there. Works like a charm. Thank you again. excellent forum!
