Thanks, Due to intricacy in the geometry i have to split the air duct in 6 pieces. The first piece has been printed.

Very impressive! What application do you have in mind for this part?

I think I can figure a way to add that to the end of my hot-end.

That is a super-duper idea. You can find the STL here in the following Thingiverse link:

If you need to shrink any dimension let me know.

That's what I was thinking too! Kind of a hybrid Berd-Air system...

Here is a little updates on the blade-less fan duct after primer application, lot of wet-sanding and finally spray paint. Check the glossiness... It just look out of injection molding machine.

Looks nice! I wish there were a way for us to see it in action. We'd need some kind of colored wind or something.

off-course smoke test as well as "Sewing Threads" hanging near the suction shall be tested to see the efficiency of the system. Presently designing 3D part for 40mm x 40mm x28mm computer fan duct attachment. Yesterday i just tested it with tap water to see the pattern of flow at the trailing edge which resembles with the results obtained from CFD.

How'd you fit it together? I have something like superglue for plastic, but the moment it touched it is perminantly attached... I'd imagine you'd want at least a few minutes of play to get everything lined up

Acetone works if it is abs.

I hear MEK or brakepad cleaner works if it is pla. But that is nasty stuff.
