Post by kilroyo »

I didnt really like the flat timing belt pulleys, so i'm gonna try and print some direct replacements for the flat ones

Hey Kilroyo,

I had the same exact thought! I printed out three already and so far so good. The link to the thingiverse item I used has an OpenSCAD file in there that allows for modifications and generation of custom idlers and gears.

Here is my post for R4A-2RS bearings, for 608's the ID will need to be set to 22mm.

Turned out pretty good ,,I' m really digging it. I dont have any bearings so I kept the acetal center, and just replaced the flat outer portion. Seems to work pretty good. Wether it makes a difference,?? . Now I just need to print more

Try printing more than 1 at a time , I printed 4 , but one popped off the table and rolled around and ruined 3 of them the first time.
