Re: ONYX is back!
Hey John
Great news! I'm looking forward to get my hands on one of these!
Out of curiosity, as well as for shipping cost and customs duty reasons...do you have any other Max upgrades up in your sleeves to come out soon, so they could be bundled in one single order?
Additionally, would you be willing to include some RTV silicone to an order? As mentioned in my build thread, this stuff seems to be hard to get in Europe.
Cheers
Andy

Re: ONYX is back!
Highcooley, no tricks just yet. As for the RTV, automotive stores don't carry any high temp silicone? The other alternative is JB weld, or another high temp epoxy? We still can't find a good source for qty orders of the tubes, looking though
Re: ONYX is back!
I ordered http://www.uhu-profishop.com/uhu-heat-r ... -80ml.html but haven't used it yet.
Re: ONYX is back!
Highcooley, my guess is that you're just not looking for the right thing.
RTV stands for "Room Temperature Vulcanizing" and the stuff you are looking for is typically referred to as "gasket maker". I did a quick search on the first UK auto parts store that came up when I Googled and found three products from Loctite:
http://www.eurocarparts.com/quick-gaske ... et%20maker
You'd probably want the copper version for the heat rating:
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-a ... &0&cc5_139
The most common in my area of the US is Permatex Ultra Copper:

I would like to order the Onyx and remember, that there was a Coupon Code for Indiegogo supporters. Unfortunately, it does not work anymore. Is this offer still valid?
