I started watching this for the pancakes, then noticed the insane tool changer.

That was an interesting use of the tool changer as well as a quick probing routine. It makes me wonder how far off the EZ probe development is.

So far it's dead in the water at the moment. The developer hasn't had any free time to hack on it.

The auto-level code in Merlin and the Repetier .90 Beta only account for bed level. If you've got your DELTA_RADIUS calibrated perfectly, auto-level would have some value I suppose.

Don't confuse auto-level with auto-radius. Auto-level doesn't do delta printers much good without a perfect DELTA_RADIUS setting.

Well that's not the news I hoping to hear. I wonder if the user in the youtube worked on any radius calculations in the probing routine since the bottom of a frying pan is not normally flat.

Considering he was pumping a liquid and his layer height was probably about 3mm, I don't think he had much to worry about. :)

Psh, not using a flat frying pan? Everyone knows real chefs use cast iron lapping plates for their cooking surfaces.

You're crushing my hopes and dreams, Gene. But actually, I don't seem to have a problem with leveling, hieght, or radius. I seem to continue fighting the extruder to give me good prints. Even after your sticky guide. Find a way to automatically dial those setting in, and you'll be in the money.

To do so would require a way to measure your filament as it's going into the extruder, as well as a way to measure the amount of pressure being applied to the filament against the hobbed bolt... probably not going to happen any time soon in a cost effective form.

Find good filament (I like MatterHackers' stuff) and keep it consistent and your extrusion issues should resolve themselves
