The RAMBo board is finally here, and here's a place to talk about it!

I2C pins

Post by cambo3d »

can someone tell me if their rambo 1.1 version has an I2C connector.

If not what would be good connector to place here? links to it. What's it called?

Looks like I could probably use the same type of connectors that connect the stepper motors. What are those called?

According to this http://reprap.org/mediawiki/images/7/75 ... ematic.png
SDA is on Pin 20
SCL is on Pin 21
just like in Arduino Mega

in the bottom right corner you have schematic of I2C

I have 1.0 and i also have only spots for soldering.

Just curious, what you want controll by it, and by what?

Planning my build and I have an lcd control panel coming that is wired through I2C.

Looking at the configuration for marlin. It looks like it has the files to support it. This works with the ramps and arduino combo as plug and play so I'm hoping it will be the same for the Rambo.

Here are three topics that discuss the E3D and the Kraken, perhaps you can join one of these discussions.
