After Slic3r finishes slicing, I click "run job" and the printer homes itself, heats to printing temp, moves to the center of the bed, then nothing happens.... code stops running on the Repetier Host log and the temperature stops fluctuating (running on/off heating style) as if the printer or software has seized up. Help!
All printer components work great when manually controlled. Custom Reprap machine with Repetier Host and customized Repetier firmware, Rambo board, Steve's Extruder and bowden tube.
Repetier not printing
Re: Repetier not printing
If you enable Echo, you can see the last G-code command executed. My guess is that it will be waiting for either the bed or the hot end to get hot.Andrew83 wrote:After Slic3r finishes slicing, I click "run job" and the printer homes itself, heats to printing temp, moves to the center of the bed, then nothing happens.... code stops running on the Repetier Host log and the temperature stops fluctuating (running on/off heating style) as if the printer or software has seized up. Re: Repetier not printing
For me, Repetier does the bed heating then moves the hotend down and begins hotend heating, then prints. I tend to use the manual heat buttons to bring things up to temp before I print though, because I get annoyed when my "*Squee!* It's about to print!" moment turns into ... "Oh, I have to wait a moment longer....".
