Question about the new V3 style triple fan part cooling
Question about the new V3 style triple fan part cooling
How is this type of part cooling working out? So may part cooling fans try and direct the air straight at the nozzle tip. Is the "blast the whole area" idea ok? I am talking about the V3 tri-shaped cooling fans.
Re: Question about the new V3 style triple fan part cooling
I find it to be just 'okay'. The fans are pretty weak but do move air over your print. I do most of my printing in PLA, and find that stronger, more direct airflow on the part works best for me - for that reason I'm in the process of replacing my part fans with the Berd Air system.

Re: Question about the new V3 style triple fan part cooling
When I look at the picture of the HE280 on SeeMe's website, I notice that the fans are the single ball bearing fans. On mine however, I have the dual ball bearing fans. So, I don't have the problem of a weak fan. I do however fail to see how any air flow reaches a smaller print. Are the fans angled a certain way?

On my RMv3, the fans are slightly angled towards the hot end by tightening the mounting screws.
