Tapatalk Forum app for smart phones
Hello, I'm still new here, getting ready to purchase a R-Max in 2 weeks.
I use an app on my smart phone to make reading forums on the mobile a lot easier. it's called Tapatalk, I hear it's easy to setup your forum to be compatible with it.
it could be cool to use while we are "out in the shop" with our printers and want to check for some tips & tricks here from our smart phones.
would it be possible to set this up here ? I was not sure what sub forum to post this in.
instructions are at this link
http://tapatalk.com/
if not, no big deal.
Dave

I would like to second the request to install the Tapatalk Forum App if it will work with this forum software.

I would like to first the request to not pollute this fine forum with that crap.
It's quite refreshing to be able to navigate to a forum on my phone's browser without being inundated with invitations to use Tapatalk. Invitations that neglect to mention all its buggy hell of rubbishness.
Forum. Browser. Easy.
Your device is too piddly to cope with the standard browserishness? Fine, but please don't inflict your limitations on the rest of us.
Just sayin

I hear what you're saying.
only reason I suggested it is simple:
Forum reading is much nicer & Enjoyable on my Droid Maxx when using a forum app vs the web browser.
it's no problem though, this forum is cool enough that I will still view it from the bowser on my "Piddly" hardware

Phones are for talking on, not surfing the internet.

Well considering I've got a Note 3 as well, I don't have a whole lot of room to talk. Regardless, get off my lawn!

Heh...I still use a flip phone when I need to carry a phone. Most of the time I'm around a REAL computer.

There are times when my phone has a faster internet connection than my clients, so a smartass phone works for me.

I'll have to dig around my files. I got a shot of the insides with the deck plates removed. Was weird going from a fly by wire F-15E to a cable and pulley KC-135R though.

Re: Tapatalk Forum app for smart phones
The F-15E isn't only FBW. The little grey box under the stick has a load cell in it that feeds the CAS, but if you turn the CAS switches off, you'll be mechanical-only. (Imagine driving a Cadillac with four flat tires and you'll get an idea of the no-CAS performance. ) On the other side of the coin, you can pin the stick in place with your knees and fly it on grip-pressure alone.

Heh, we really had to watch ourselves running around it during end of runway operations. The flight controls try to auto stabilize, so when it's windy, they are moving all over the place.

[ ... as PartDaddy puts away microscope, reading glasses, AND stops sqinting and swishing around the screen to read and write this on his Droid Maxx. ]
Now, I do agree with Gene, phones are for talking in. Lol. This should do the trick, cell rotarty dial from Spark Fun. I'd cut and paste the link, but I can't on my Droid. I can do this between browser windows, but not a website & forum. Hmmm
It seems forums can't ever provide the best of everything. Oly, chime in here.... No ripping on your elders either!
