It took a while, but I was mostly delaying gratification. Paying attention to some advice I read, I kept it mostly stock. As such I don't need to post pictures of another Max, we know what they look like. I did add a couple of minor features
I added inner fan guards to both fans. I did not want a stray wire to be pinging my fan blades. I also added the little 2 pin connector and plug. I might want to change out the 40mm fan some day.
I added a little grommet / strain relief in the upper section
Just to make sure the wires didn't rub on the sharp edge and to give an additional tie wrap point.
I also added a strain relief for the USB cable
So I didn't do something stupid, pull on the cord and break Rambo.
Other things I have seen around like the belt tensioner, the USB connector, etc might be adds in the future.
BTW, thank you SeeMeCNC for those free fall drops to the build plate during tower calibration. A little heart attack every time.
