My shiny new Rostock Max v2

Post by TheCommonCathode »

Just finished my printer a few days ago and thought I'd post to the thread.
My setup with my print-puter. (May be changing to a Thinkcentre)

The printer looks great and the prints are actually quite good considering that you are new at using a slicer and new at all the
configuration the printers must go through.
Thanks for posting the pics and we will look forward to you becoming an active member of the forum.

Those prints look pretty cool even though they're 2d. You should make a ton of the chemical groups and sell them to the nearest schools chemistry department.

I barely even calibrated it. I had a little trouble with with the Z cal and entering it into the EEPROM. It seems that my only problem is that the extruder is higher in the middle then the edges. But that seems like an easy fix, and I have very decent prints from from my cal setting as is. I will be sure to upload more once I get some more filament.
