carriage / arm upgrade. horiz radius and dia rod length?

Post by Tinker12 »

I just upgraded my orion from the previous model by adding the new injection molded carriages and ball joint arms. I read
in the instructions that when upgrading carriage you need to change horizontal radius to 84.5 from 57.1. and when upgrading arms
change radius to 89 from 57.1 also change diagonal rod length to 179.0. My question is since i am doing both these upgrade at the same
time what values do i change to?

thanks

btw the upgrades are very good. the hotend has no play as with the previous setup... great job SEEMECNC!

The ball cup arms rely on the IM carriages, so use their values, as those are correct for the combination of the two.
