Under extrusion...

For my last 2-3 prints I've been having a bit of under extrusion with my Orion. Keeping an eye on the temperature of the hot end I've noticed some 10-20°C temp drop.

So I took the resistors out... well what's left of them.

You may want to replace the resistors with the ceramic cartridges that are 12 V. You only need one, the other hole would be empty.
They work great and IMHO work better than the resistors.

While you are there consider the screw thermistor and Silicon Tape Wrap also.

Worth the effort.

I was lucky... I had ordered screw in thermistors and a heat cartridge for an eventual upgrade to the stock hotend if the E3D V5 I get (ordered before I knew the V6 was coming out) keep jamming with PLA and they came in as the resistors failed.

Yes, that is similar to what I used. There is a video on YouTube about upgrading your hotend that covers this quite well.

The only thing I wasn't too comfortable doing was to redrill the thermistor's hole to the proper dept. It's pretty darn close to the thread of the nozzle.

There is so little material coming out of the hole that I opened mine up by hand using the drill bit in a pin vise. A few turns with a sharp bit and the hole is ready to tap for the typical M3 screw thread.

I did it with a press drill on low speed and a brand new 2.5mm bit. Gauged the depth with the nozzle hole -.1mm on the depth gauge of the drill. Worked fine but I was doubting the accuracy of said gauge.

@PopolZ: Hi, I think if it is working fine then there will be no issues for the gauge depth as 0.1mm depth seems good. It is fine and no need worry about it.
