I picked up a couple of these: https://www.tindie.com/products/freto/p ... extension/ a few months back and I've been very happy with them. Allows me to use off the shelf HDMI cables to extend the distance I can mount my Pi camera away from the Pi and gets rid of the annoying ribbon cable. They were easy to install and have worked flawlessly since I got them.
Comes as a set of two CSI to HDMI converters plus some short ribbon cable and mounting hardware.
Not associated with the seller in any way. Just a happy customer.
