Is there any way to run faster then 1500mm/m with emc2?

tom, what is your clock speed? I can't remember what it's called in EMC, in Mach3 it's kernel speed or something similar. That might be limiting your max speeds, otherwise it could also be in your motor profiles, just a thought

Hmm do you mean Baud rate? i have been changing my speed by changing the Max velocity option on EMC

I'm not familiar with EMC, but max velocity sounds right, if that's where you limit the steppers max feedrate.

There is a separate option called feed override but that only goes up to 120%

If you are using the parallel port outputs for stepper control then the speed limit will be how fast the port outputs can be changed. It may be related to that. Have not used EMC2 is a while so cannot be sure.
