Horizontal Radius not changing

Post by altruego »

My printer is a Rostock Maz V2 and I am using Repetier firmware. The horizontal radius is too small and I am trying to increase it. However, when I adjust it in the EEPROM settings screen it makes no change in the horizontal radius. I can see the command being sent to the printer: "N838 M206 T3 X137.50 P885 *96" What am I missing here?

What software are you using to adjust the EEPROM settings?

Repetier-Host Mac 1.0.2 is what I am using to change the horizontal radius. I also tried erasing and reinstalling the firmware. The firmware version is 0.91. Old I know... but it has worked up to this point.

Are you using the SeeMeCNC fork of the firmware? If not, that's what you should be using. It requires Arduino 1.6.0 to compile properly.

If you make an eeprom change and save it, and the change doesn't show up after you've rebooted the printer, then the EEPROM update wasn't working properly.

I would check to make sure you're using the latest version of MatterControl, or you may be able to use Repetier Host - I don't know if there's a Mac version though.
