What we need is a build area of 13.5" in diameter. To do a prototype speaker grill for a 12" subwoofer I now have to print it in sections then glue. Still faster then cnc milling the part out of a solid plastic block, which is what I was doing before. But we have other cabinet projects in the works also. So in yall opinion would it be better to buy the kit and modify it or just build what we need from the ground up? We have machine and wood shops so building is not a problem. just don't know if cutting all the parts would be wroth it. Instead of making bigger base, top plates, and arms. Would use the HBP that comes with the kit and just use a bigger glass for the oversized parts.
Thanks

My thoughts are buy and modify. Priced separately, you're ahead, plus you have the design that you can modify.
