Cannot move object in MatterControl

OK it isn't that I can't move an object in MatterControl, I can move it, but when I go to print it, it prints in the center instead, every time!

Example: I want to print the calibration cube near the edge of the build plate. So I do Edit, select the cube, drag it to the edge, hit Save. The 3D View is showing it at the edge where I want it, but the Layer View still has it in the center! Aarggg. And if I hit print, it prints it in the center, not where I put it. What the--this is so frustrating, what am I missing here?

In MatterControl select "settings" then select "output options".
In there you will find a setting "center on bed".
Remove the "x" from the box and save.

Oh thanks, this was driving me crazy. Not a very intuitive program.
