Has anyone successfully printed Ninjaflex

I can see there being issues with the bowden tube, and before I pick some up to play with I thought I'd see if anyone else has had success/failure with it?

That's why you should do the "Air-Struder" mod and make your bowden tube as short as possible.

The extruder is hanging on bungee cords from the bearing carriages (i.e. not rigidly coupled to the effector platform) and the bowden tube is only about 2" long.

It's not available yet. I did the first one and created the parts list. Now the SeeMeCNC guys are working to create a kit for the website. I'm not sure of the ETA.

To be back on topic here, I also have successfully printed with ninjaflex, alot actually.

I even figured out how to print without really any slowdown with it.

For me the secret was to get some vegitable oil and soak a small section of paper towel in it and rub this over about the first 3 or 4 feet of the ninjea flex being fed. This lets it go through the bowden tube nice and smooth with much less jamming. And the lubricating effect has always lasted for long enough for pretty much any print I have done.

I also like to make sure that my extruder is not pinching the rubber too hard as this seems to encourage it to curl and not feed without kinking in the tube. Also make sure that the point of entry to the bowden tube is as close to the roller of whichever extruder you are using as possible to not give any chance of it bunching up.

Lastly don't let the feeding material get warm or hot before it is fed, either through a hot room or by heating from the stepper motor on the extruder.
