I'm interested in making prints that look like they are made from shiny metal. I have done some urethane casting in the past and have gotten great results with casting materials made from aluminum and bronze impregnated casting resin (post cure polished). I'm interested in knowing if similar realistic looking results can be achieved with metal infused filaments. Has anyone tried this?
Ideally, I'd like metal infused ABS so I can sand and polish it like my castings.
Does anyone have any experience with this material? Thanks!
Anyone used metal infused filament?

That's exactly the look I was going for. I did not know about this technique before. I had seen people sand the PLA and get that nasty while look that this avoids. I think this is the answer I needed. Thank you very much!teoman wrote:
