Instructions for installing E3D V6 Hotend... HALP PLZ.

So, I basically have an understanding on how to install the E3D V6, but I have been told that you must to some adjustments in the software, and I have searched for a few days with no luck. Can anyone either supply me with a link with the needed instructions, or possibly help me understand what needs to be done to get it working correctly. I was told you need to adjust the mm/s, setup the thermistor and heater, and I know how to PID tune.

mm/s is going to be in the slicer, and until you see it printing, you don't need to do a thing. For the heater, the default firmware settings (Other than PID), should be fine, and the thermistor should be set to be
