I have the Artemis 300. I am using atomic filament but lately, the first layer has parts that look like crap, see picture. The bed is clean, I have poked a thin acupuncture needle through the hotend to make sure it is clear. Anyone have any idea's ??

Re: Parts of first layer look bad
It almost looks like you're too high.
Home the printer, do a G0 Z0 and then using the movement buttons in the interface, move the nozzle to where that part is printing poorly. Take a look at the distance between the nozzle tip and the bed. If there's a "big" gap there, you might try re-running the calibration process. If you've removed & replaced the glass, that can cause problems as the bed map will have changed and can result in high or low spots that weren't present before. The bed glass is perfectly flat to US, but to a 3D printer, it can be a wavy surface.

Re: Parts of first layer look bad
so should I run the first probe macro ?? or the _probe Autolevel ?
Re: Parts of first layer look bad
Its weird, if I use a raft the 1st few layers look awesome! See picture, then when it gets to the model the same thing starts happening, it eventually fixes itself by adding more layers which smooth's it out but this is weird. I wonder if I have some cura settings that are off ?

Re: Parts of first layer look bad
You can just re-run the bed mapping process. I don't recall the command off the top of my head.
