Right now I'm very much at a loss in the assembly of the V2.
Section 7in the assembly manual is talking about installing a stop screw for the T-channels on the top section, however the vertical supports have been changed in the latest revision of the kit and there is no place for the stop screw.
What do I do now???
Thanks in advance
Rostock V2 assembly issue
Re: Rostock V2 assembly issue
These screws perform the same function as the ones previously installed in the lower tower mounts. This helps guarantee that the top section will be at the correct height on all three towers.
Note that your kit will ship with a part that looks very much like the one to the right. This was a very recent design change and is not reflected in the manual. It is strictly a cosmetic change.

The above is taken out the manual section #7.
There is no place for the tower depth stop screw in the newer vertical tower mounts.

Re: Rostock V2 assembly issue
You put the end stop screw in that slot, just like in the manual picture fig. 7-2
Of course the head of the screw is on the inside of one of the two sides, and you may have to take it apart to put it in there.
The head of the screw is being used as the end stop. I suppose you could put the screw in from the outside, and let the little nub end of the screw
that sticks through be the end stop, then you would not have to take it apart. Except the new upper tower mount looks like this. But you still use the slot.

Tonkabot,
You're awesome!
Thank you for the pictures and instructions.
I spoke with John of SeeMeCNC a few minutes ago and he set me straight.
I guess being up at 2:00AM as old as I am makes things look different.
Lol, I was looking for a round hole.
I'm loving this assembly way too much.
