Day three, and I have to go to work. What is left is all the soldering and hooking up the RAMBo board.

Re: Hello from Lansing, MI
Do take your time when doing the Rambo portion of the build.
Specifically make REALLY sure that your heating resistors on the hotend are not shorting to the metal or have any chance of shorting to the metal during movements. Also make REALLY sure your thermistor leads have no chance of this either, also consider things will be getting really hot and generally softer and easier to shift around.
If you get a short through your thermistors, more common than you might think, you will blow all the thermistor inputs on your Rambo. This is a none repairable situation and requires a new Rambo and the wait time of getting a new one. Oh, and not to be forgotten expense.
So take your time and check really carefully all your hookup and connections.
Also if you have a stepper unplug from the board during movement while the printer is in use you can kiss that driver goodbye off the Rambo. Make sure everything is really secure and not able to come loose and or short.
Advice from someone who blew not 1 but 2 thermistor inputs on 2 Rambo's, a friend of course, not me, this guy I know. He told me about it ya!

Yeah, I have had a thin hair like wire of copper blow up a stepper driver. My friend blew up a Gecko too.
Welcome and great job on getting up and running!
