So i started printing the T Rex skull, as a few noticed and commented etc.
Well, without going further, the teeth arent great.
so i started printing this test piece.

disregard the last three..
So i have been tuning Craftware with different setting changes, and just did 3 at a time to make sure cooling wasnt an issue (i have 3 layer fans).
ALl three turned out the same, and the same as the one in the left side of the pic.
very jaggedy etc.
I would love any help getting these to print perfectly.
Ive messed with wipe lentgh, etc
thanks all
Spikey test :)

How do the other makezine test prints look? Particularly I'd be interested to see the XY resonance test.

Re: Spikey test :)
so im running this test through craftware... strange thing is craft isnt slicing it like matter control.. matter is slicing it where all four corners are solid... craftware has 3 of the corners open... strange.

Re: Spikey test :)
strange... the one from craftware came out pretty poor in the corners. very flimsy, as expected from a 1 layer wall... but definately not great.
mattercontrol wouldnt even print the walls, just the base.

Yeah, so im kind of at a loss... im sure there is a setting im missing or something, but this test passed with flying colors.
im going to try to run this box on craftware to see what happens..
My initial thought is mattercontrol may just be a better slicer, and app... I like it
EDIT: So i just printed the box from Craftware and its not anywhere near the quality of print that mattercontrol turned out. So looks like ill be using matter for a while longer, until i can tune craftware or something.
not happy, as i thought that slicer would be good

Wow! That box looks great!
I have no idea why you'd get such greats results from that but the spikes look so bad. I'll have to chew on that for awhile...
