E3D version of M3 Stud Thermistor

Post by DarrenAnton »

Need some help with E3D version of M3 Stud Thermistor

I got a new E3D version of M3 Stud Thermistor from ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321490496841?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

It was my understanding I set Repetier firmware to # 1
// 1 is 100k thermistor (Epcos B57560G0107F000 - RepRap-Fab.org and many other)

Even if that # is not the same

Turn on the system I get 500 C then DEF

Anyone use this model? what setting did you use?

Thanks...

Yes, you have the thermistor setting correct. It sounds like you might have a short. I'd remove the thermistor from the hotness and test it unattached. You an hold it between your fingers to get some temperature rise.
