Better way to tighten belts?

Post by ericpudding »

I think I need to tighten the belts on my machine and was wondering if there is a better method that people have come up with rather than the one in the manual. Its hard and awkward to do by myself and most times I feel as if I didnt even tighten it more. Also what should the belt feel like when it is sufficiently tightened? I've heard mixed answers and since the belts on these machines are so long I'm not sure where I should be feeling the resistance in the belts. Thanks for the help in advance

I have been happy with this system as noted below. I was not aware of where this tension model came from since I found it from a different thread. Thanks to all who helped develop it for us!!
