Big prints fail...

Hello everybody,

woke up this morning and checked what came out of my print...
the 3rd time out of 3 trys a bigger print fails.
I don't understand what happend. the first 40% look pretty good.
and afterwards everything is a mess.

I would say watch the print but you state it is a long one so try recording the action.


Chec the mechanicals of the printer by moving the effector to where you think it failed to see if anything is binding.

One of the common suspects is the bowden tube, it can get stuck on one of the carriages and then mess things up badly.
When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.

thx teoman,

that was my first thought too. but it seems like it was something else.
I installed a E3D V6 lately. and for some reason the nozel was jammed. the filament must have made its way from somewhere above the nozzle. there is a lot of melted plastics around the heatblock etc. and the filament in the loader is totally scraped away. seems that when the pla beside the hotend cooled down it hit the printpart and so the coordinates where lost.
I changed back to the original SeemeCNC-hotend and everything now worked fine.
I hope it stays that way.
