Bed center control sending carriage to X

Post by jram »

I am currently calibrating after installing the new carriages. I go through the zyx bed center process, after getting the x tower set I hit bed center and the carriage comes back to x. I'm not sure if this due to the new carriages. I noticed that the screws on the new carriages barely hit the stop switch enough to leverage the metal piece down in order to push the black button. Alternatively, I hit bed center after setting the x tower and bed center does not change even after resetting horizontal radius.. Anyone else dealing with this?

Your post doesn't make a great deal of sense as written. :(

Did you remember to reset the starting point for your Horizontal Radius to 140? (I've found that with the new arms AND new carriages, 144 is a better starting point)

Thanks Gene, I will try starting at 144.
Sorry about the confusing post, I wrote it just when the coffee was starting to take hold

Haha, that tends to happen pre coffee, everything is out of order until the second cup or so :D
By the way, I started at 144 and ended up At 143.5. It's printing great !
