The Rostock Max V2 Kit arrived a couple of weeks ago and it took me a couple of weekends of effort to put it all together.
This weekend the goal has been to calibrate and start printing - mission successful!

Per the user manual the first print was the fan housings- I still haven't installed them- just printing with ABS for the time being.

My general intention is to make patterns of use in metal casting- either lost PLA style, or to make a RTV silcone mold of the plastic part and then make wax models for lost wax casting.
Here's a cylinder head I'm working on. I did a small scale test print followed by the full scale.
