{Solved} Bed Not Getting Hot Enough

I recently built a Rostock Max V2 and everything seems to work fine except for the bed which won't heat above 42 degrees celcius. I tried the suggestions found on this thread: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=9550 but no luck. The only way I can print anything is to manually heat the bed with a heat gun to the target 80.

SOLUTION: The Bed PID Max Value was, for some unknown reason, set to 44 rather than 255.

Which PSU do you have?
Make sure bed PID drive Max is set to 255.
The first thing to check is the voltage with the bed heating, both at the input to the Rambo and at the bed output.
The input should be more or less 12V, the bed output will be slightly less because of the mosfet and the PWM n the control pin.

double check that the line voltage select switch on the newer power supply case under the yellow tag is set to 115 not 220 that is the mistake i made

The PSU I have is the one shown in the picture posted by Windshadow. I not sure exactly what it is called.
I changed the Bed PID Drive Max value to 255 and I'ts been heating for over an hour yet is currently hovering around 42 degrees.
Unfortunately I won't be able to check the voltage untill Wenesday.

I made sure it was switched to 115 after I saw it suggested on another post yet unfortunately it didn't help.

42 is really low.

You could have a bad connction somewhere. Check out if any of the connectors or wires is heating up.

Also you can try pid autotune to see if that helps.
