Re: Check out the CoreXY Printer I have designed and built
You seem to have it running very smoothly and the shrouds you have designed for it make it a very clean design
well done

Well done indeed!
The cats you printed and I hope that are supposed to be cats look just like your avatar. Does someone
have a cat fettish? (you don't have to answer that because it is none of my business.)

Holy deletions, Batman!
I'm sure you had your reasons. Just don't blame the cat!

Re: Deleted
Thats silly, this is what are you making it does not have to be made on a delta to go here... and I think SeeMeCNC did a cartesian printer when they first started out.The moderators will remove anything that is against the rules
if you are making it I think you should be able to put it here..... but then I am not a moderator so perhaps one of them will chip in

Re: Deleted
How rude of them. It was a rather nice printer, and if they told you to take your toys and go home, I wish they had had the honesty to do it in public. I mean, I don't get bothered for having a cartesian laser cutter, Mike doesn't get hassled for using a cartesian for some multi-color work. No one has bugged people for building MPCNC's. Seems that it's inconsistent if it's an actual policy, or a rather fussy busybody
(That being said, I understand this forum is put together by SeemeCNC and intended for their community, and so a focus on their printers is the intended result)

Hey Holy1,
We're (SeeMeCNC) not sure who messaged you and told you this is strictly a delta forum? We don't care who posts what on here, especially if it's something YOU MADE!!!! The only thing we're against is the blatantly obvious spammy posts from people that their first post is a "hey look what i made, buy it here!" kind of posts. We don't want our community to turn into an advertisement site haha.
From all of us at SeeMeCNC HQ, please post back whatever it was you took down, as obviously a lot of guys were interested in it man!

Re: Deleted
Holy1, other printers are welcome here. Considering this is the General "what are you making?" board, then your printer is perfectly relevant. If someone doesn't like it, they can go pound sand. I think it would be cool if you'd re-post your printer pics.

Gee thanks everyone. I will certainly repost soon. I will send a pm to the person and tell them to "pound sand".

You are too generous with telling him to pound sand, that is not what I would be telling him but this is a public forum.Holy1 wrote:Gee thanks everyone. I will certainly repost soon. I will send a pm to the person and tell them to "pound sand".

Re: Deleted
I won't lie, when I saw the "deleted" all over the thread it made me want to read it even more.
So, as an attempt to read it, I tried one of those web services that let you view a cached version of a page.
No luck with that, but I ended up playing with this page http://waybackmachine.org and found this:
Maybe I'm too nostalgic, but I do miss the old looks.
Is there a way to change the background or to choose different templates for the current forum?
Please don't take it as a complaint, the current forum it's very clear to read and navigate, but I liked more the old one.

@Holy1 I don't like cats much, but hey, I wanna see what you did on your cartesian !
@Tincho85, there is a way : in your profile settings, you can set your board style under the "board preference" tab.

Re: Deleted
I'm not much of a cat person either but the model is a good challenging print with overhangs and nice smooth rounded shapes.
