The little things...
After changing out all of our machines from rods, reals, sticks and stands to all "frictionless" spool holders we've seen a notable increase in print quality. It's just physics. The extruder doesn't have to pull on the spool to get filament.
The original design:

Our design to accommodate small center hole filament (hatchbox)

After printing two prints on the new Max V3 I heard and saw the effects of a large diameter spool on the injection molded spool holder. A lot of tension. The EZR (With fixed compression) works and doesn't mind though it can still have a negative effect on prints. Our temporary solution was to stick an M8 threaded rod through the spool holder top part with a spool wheel on it. See Photo.
The Red piece is our spool holder on the V2 which worked better just from being a circle vs square design that (V2) spool holder mount easily holds the M8 rod for a "frictionless" spool holder.
With time I'd like to design a mount similar to the V2 which fits on the V3 to hold an M8 rod and the spool holder. Unless someone here has time...
