Rumba PROMBLEMS :(

Post by Ziggey »

So my rumba problems continue..... I have a max V2 trying to run repitier. I went and did the firmware config I believe I have the firmware all hooked up right. I finally am getthing the correct H & L from the M119 commands. So I am thinking that my issue might be the wiring for my motors. The REPRAP WIKI says Black Green Red Blue. My motors have Red Green Yellow Blue (in that order). Can anyone else verify what order they have theirs in..
thank you

You have KYSAN brand stepper motors (Or as I sometimes call them, skittles steppers (the BlaGRBlu are like MnMs)). This is the correct wiring for KYSAN motors (RGYB). I just checked my printer and that is how they are wired (and they move).

Thank you Nylocke!!! I have them in correctly just another thing I can check off the possible problem list.
Does anyone know how much voltage should be going to the motors? I have less than 5 Vs I should have around twelve right?
I do have 12V going into my board I double checked....

Thank you,
Zig
