Hi all,
I upgraded one of my v2 printers with new probing board ( with e3d v6 hot end) and it all works OK but I have done 2 long prints ~20 hours and when I came to see it after about 15 or 16 hours it was still printing ok but the screen is all empty and no display at all ( blue light is on ). the bed an nozzle are the right temp and it will print until the end.
turning the button or pressing won't make the screen on.
what can it be?
max v2 with probing board

but it I turn it off and on the screen will be OK
Re: max v2 with probing board
That is also a symptom. Once the printer starts moving the vibrations create an open connection or short somewhere. Check the LCD connector that plugs into RAMBo and the two ribbon connectors that plug into it on both sides.

Thanks, that was the problem.
Re: max v2 with probing board
Can I ask which probing board and how do you like it?
