Holes in top layers

Hi everyone!
Been dialing in my Rostock Max 2 since I replaced the hotend and am very close to acceptable for prints.
I have adjusted extrusion and added more top layers but still getting holes in the top. Any ideas?

This is very typical with domed top surfaces. If you think about what's going on and do a few drawings you'll see that there are three options:
1) use more perimeters - it looks like ou are using 1 in the photo, increase that to 2 or 3
2) make the extrusion width a lot wider, which is usually not practical
3) make the layers thinner - which really increases the print time
I'm not sure what you mean by "added more top layers".

In simplify 3d trouble shooting it says adding extra solid top layers may fix the issue. I try adding some more perimeters.

If you're using S3D, figure out what layer begins the top and back off 20 or so and print at a much lower layer height.

Also, to top off what geneb said above increase your infill below the top layers. My top layers always come out perfect if I numb up the infill in the 10 layers below the top solid layers.

In KISSlicer, I would increase the "skin thickness."
