What Exactly Needs Changed in the Firmware for V2 Upgrades

I just recently needed to clear the EEPROM, and I then re-uploaded the firmware. But, when I homed my machine, I ran into the wonderful issue of the Y-Axis not doing what it should be. Well, this is the first problem I ever had when I upgraded my V2 with all the new V3 specs, and I remember I change the vallues of "HOME_DIR" and "INVERT_DIR" in configuration.h. I don't remeber what I changed though!!!

I've been looking through these forums for an answer, but everyone seems to solve it differently. Should I jsut start some random guesses and hope I get lucky?

If the Y-axis homes in the wrong direction you have two options:
- change INVERT_DIR on the Y-Axis as you already found
- rewire the stepper wires in the Y stepper connector to match the default firmware

If you do nr. 2 you wont have to think about it again if you ever reset firmware
If you do nr. 1 you will probably want to write a note in your log-file (wise advice that I do not always follow myself... )

If you decide to go the hardware route, swapping pins 1 and 2 on the Y connector should do it.

And, I would still define my printer as the Rostock Max V3 right?
