Just completed build, couple of questions.

So I just completed my Rostock V3 build, I've got a couple of questions.

1. Three of these little plastic things were left over after the build, what are they/did I miss something? They are part of Carriage pack of parts (#70849), but I didn't see anything about the use of these from the build guide. After going back and double checking the guide, I still see nothing related to installing these.

2. After building by Rostock, upon running auto calibration for the first time, there was a three car pileup on the highway. Meaning it was crash city.
The end stop striker screws that depress the limit switches were slamming into the the laser cut panel they are meant to pass through. After checking everything out, I could not see how i built anything wrong. The hole they are meant to pass through are D shaped, but the screw head was hitting the straight part of the hole. I had to cut the heads of the screws to be D shaped so they could pass through and hit the limit switches. Now hopefully the part form question 1 is not related to this issue, but it was part of the carriage pack( #70849) so.......

Any help most appreciated,

Black plastic bits with two holes? Those are axle adapters for those upgrading an original Rostock MAX v1 or early v2 with u-joint arms. You don't need them.

They're included in the packs as they're pre-packed for sale as an upgrade kit, so they get extra bits in there.

yes exactly, that's the part, thanx. figured something like that but wasn't sure.

Still not sure why the end stop striker screws hit the top panel though. Did I build wrong or is this a know issue?

The end stop screws must be perfectly straight up and down or they won't enter the hole in the top panel, right below the switch.

Well yes, of course.

I suppose this is a result of non threaded holes that easily accepted the screw at a non vertical angle. Each screw seemed to seat and thread into it's hole properly, but all three are are at the same slight angle. Perhaps more should be mentioned in the guide about this potential issue.

Thanx
