Hello everyone, I'm looking for help with an error I've been getting on my Rostock Max v3 that has been preventing me from printing. As the title suggests, it's the Accelerometer i2c recv Error. Now unfortunately, I'm not the most technologically adept. I've searched around on other threads and forums, but haven't really been able to make sense of them. If someone could explain how to resolve this problem, I'd be very grateful.

It sounds like the i2c bus potentially has a break in it. Check your connections to this circuit and see if that helps.

You do have all of the necessary hardware, correct? Apparently this could happen on a printer that doesn't actually have an accelerometer...

I have rechecked all the connections and wiring and it all looks good. I performed a reset and loaded the calibration cube to print. Everything starts out good, but about 90% into print it stopped.. Got the dreaded Error Reported: Error Printer set into Dry Run Mode until restart.

I reset again and reprinted, unfortunately got the same error.

I usually print either 210 or 215 degrees Celsius

215 isn't (well, shouldn't be) anywhere near the max that your system is set to, so that's probably not it.

Sounds like a job for BusPirate. It can monitor I2C and send the output to a file for you (and a whole bunch of other things too).
