Scanning through the various forums that I am subscribed to I have noticed some topics within the subscribed forums that show in Red meaning that I never have read them.
I didn't read them because I was not notified that the topic had new messages. When I open the topic and go to the bottom, it shows subcribe topic as an option. Why should
I have to subscribe to a topic that is under a forum that I am already subscribed to? I am wondering if this is happening to other users of this forum also.

I think that when John Oly did DB maintenance a few days ago he damaged/lost some of the info about which threads and posts we've read. I know that just about every thread I haven't read in the last week is marked unread, but it doesn't show up in "View unread posts".
